The Temple Sowerby Bypass opened in October 2007, returning the village to a true a quiet rural setting, yet less than 10 minutes from the M6. The house dates from 1727 and has been sensitively restored to create just 12 comfortable and stylish bedrooms, all with contemporary bathrooms.
