Tresco's day-job is tourism. At night the islanders meet in the main bar of the New Inn, panelled with exotic woods washed ashore from a passing ship. It is the island's social centre, a natural interface between islanders and guests.
Upstairs are 15 en-suite double bedrooms, with ample space for children. Guests can relax in the laid-back atmosphere of the main, pavilion, or private resident's bars, then in the evening, enjoy a more formal menu in the award winning restaurant.
