The historic Midland Hotel has played host to many famous since it first opened in 1841, including Queen Victoria in 1849 and a copy of the menu served to her party is displayed in the cocktail bar today.
The Midland is Derby's premier hotel and offers 100 superbly appointed bedrooms - 50 have fax/modem points and separate shower cubicles. The hotel has an excellent range of Conference Suites, five are air-conditioned.
