More often than not, the 4 star Metropole hotel is the first sight you notice on entering the vibrant town of Padstow, aka the sea food capital of Great Britain (thanks in the main to Rick Stein & co). The view over the town and Camel Estuary from the hotel is second to none and it’s also one of the only hotels to offer reasonable parking facilities on site. Ying and yang come together here at the hotel, with splendid Victorian architecture complimenting a modern interior that retains a tasteful foot in both eras. The hotel boasts an AA rosette restaurant an outdoor swimming pool (July/August) and a bar and lounge to relax and unwind in.
