The Maynard couldn't be more conveniently situated - it's an ideal base from which to discover the Derbyshire countryside. Nearby places of interest include Chatsworth House, home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, the town of Bakewell, famous for the Original Bakewell Pudding and Ladybower reservoir - used by the dambusters in World War II. Our fine restaurant provide a varied meal range from an extensive International selection to traditional British fayre. Our enviable reputation as a first class wedding venue precedes us as we have years of experience of hosting civil marriage ceremonies and wedding receptions.
