Lower Slaughter Manor has a history that dates back nearly 1,000 years and it is known that a Manor House stood on the site before the Norman Conquest.
The Grade II star listed Manor, acknowledged to be one of the finest seventeenth century country houses in the area, stands in complete tranquility in its own private grounds on the edge of the village. Within the walled garden is a unique two storey dovecote dating back to the 15th century.
