The Cross Hands Hotel is a charming old posting house dating from the 14th century. The restaurant is renowned for its excellent cuisine and extensive wine list whilst the oak beamed Beaufort Bar is ideal for sampling one of the range of traditional ales and good food. Queen Elizabeth II stayed at the Cross Hands Hotel during a blizzard in 1981.
